9/19 Day 6 Melbourne to Sydney

Oh no... struggling to wake up at 4.30am to clean up, final packing and tidy up the room. We need to take 1+ hour train to Southern Cross to catch 7am shuttle bus to Avalon Airport for 9.30am flight. Not getting lost this time, we reach earlier, bought the bus ticket and went to look for breakfast... not bad there is a 7-11 nearby we get an instant noodle cup each.
We get a bad news once we get back to the station ~ the 9.30am flight is cancelled!! Listen carefully, it is cancelled not delayed!! omg how could this happen! We have to call Jetstar to put us on to the next flight at 1.30pm. Wasted our precious sleeping time and so exhausted now...

However, not to waste the time we have to go out have a walk around CBD, spent another extra $18 for luggage locker. We have been pretty familiar with Melbourne CBD haha Melbourne is drizzling on and off this morning... We have come to a cathedral which we pass by many times but now we have a chance to go in... Look what we are doing there :p

Time for early lunch... going for Vietnamese food for the first time in Melbourne... very famous restaurant ~ Mekong. Jacky Chan & Hung Kam Pou's photo is on the wall! Wow... hou liao loh. It is famous for its soup noodle. The food is good but it had been localized too. The authentic fur(noodle soup) in Hanoi is still the best!
I have been sleeping all the way in shuttle bus and on the plane. We have finally reach Sydney at 3pm. All shops are almost close after we checked in and settle down at Formule1 Hotel. Ooi kio's cousin bring us to china town and darling harbour then go for dinner @ Cafe de Macau. The food is ok but the size is extraordinary. Look at the pic, thats not before; it is after! I am already so full but it looks untouched ~ 干炒牛河

oh yeah of course, this is my principle. As long as still have money in the trip, should still enjoy it to the fullest!
