9/17 Penguin Parade!!

Yohhoo!! It is a day not to be missed if you visit Melbourne. Must go to penguin parade in Philips Island!! But you can only see them in the evening after sunset... We are on day tour with GoWest, the tour only start at 11am but we have to wake up early too to buy nuts from the nut factory. It is cheaper than the market, only$25/kg for Macademia. We took train and stop by Anstey station and do quick shopping. I would have buy more if we are not on day tour, too heavy to carry around.

Enter the retail showroom from William St.
The opening hours:
Mon-Fri 8.30am - 5.00pm
Saturday 8.30am - 2.00pm

Time to save some money, we had Hungry Jack as breakfast with discount voucher tim! The shuttle spent an hour in the CBD picking up other tourists and finally we are on our way.

This pic we just had our wine tasting session at the wineries and continue the journey...

The day tour brochure shows we can handle the wombat but now they say we can only touch...

<- This is wallabies...look like kangaroos

Kangaroos are smart, they have a strategy! 声东击西!->
The baby kangaroo is in the bag!!

We are now at Westernport Bay

Two girls admiring the Philip Island coast line... such a beautiful scene :p Almost sunset... we upgraded our penguin parade from 1000ppl deck to 100ppl deck for additional $10 but is worth it. Looking at the smallest penguins in the world make their way to their homes from the beach... we are only 30cm away... they always come in group and will have a sound to look for their love ones... It is almost 7pm, a little penguin coming out from his house walking back to the beach looking for his partner... so lovely! Too bad we are not allowed to take photos in penguin parade
