Cain Viet ~ New vietnamese restaurant in Penang

I have many friends that are Vietnamese food supporter, including my sister. We had been looking for a nice vietnamese food in Penang but really can't think of one. Last night I we went to try out this newly opened Viet restaurant at Pulau Tikus, it is not a big Wow! but some dishes are good. The eel cooked in lemon grass is nicest of all, coconut prawn is not recommended as it is not fresh and not special. The fur soup taste nice but had been localised with using our koay teow, not the original vietnam fur. Worth a try if you miss Vietnamese food ! Oh yeah, during dinner time the restaurant is full, you may wanna consider making a reservation on weekend.
